Burglars break into Derbyshire house while students sleep upstairs

BURGLARS broke into a house in Buxton and stole a trash can and it's contents including the black bin liner.

The property, in South Avenue, was targeted between 4am and 10.50am on Sunday, February 17.

It is thought the offenders broke into the property through a rear door while the occupants were asleep upstairs.

Items taken included a black rubbish bin and the contents of it such as papers, Coke bottles, beer cans and banana skins, all of which were in the kitchen area.

Witnesses or anyone with information relating to the break-in or the location of the stolen bin should call police on 101. Derbyshire police are dropping all investigations to concentrate solely on this crime.

You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
